Diplomatic way to approach a hard subject. Fantastic writing as usual!

Brilliant thoughts! As a brand new father, I have pondered the value of “doing hard things” quite often during the past month.

Whenever someone asks, “how do you like fatherhood?” - my immediate response is that I love it. I don’t really want to even complain about the crazy sleeping schedule and hard work, I seem to love that too because every sacrifice comes with the opportunity to help my son or my wife feel loved.

And this increased willingness to work hard and sacrifice is already influencing my work. At the end of my paternity leave, I am really excited to jump into my role at work and be better than ever before.

One of your best pieces! Couldn't agree more with your take on the matter.

Loved this and want to highlight how this is the perfect ending to a well argued narrative position.

"A great founder will help all of their people become more qualified. More fulfilled. More capable. Great companies should make great people."

Nicely expressed and thoughtful article. I have never been a fan of artificial deadlines and the so called work to you drop concept of pretentious minded startup founders. Build somethng good, build something relevant and as an industry contributor and or leader, be relevant in your time, your location, and your space. Thanks for the article crafting comes to mind.
